THE RUSTIC HOUSE STORY

From the time she was a little girl, Emily was intrigued with how scent could trigger memories and evoke emotions. While completing her Entrepreneur Business Degree her interest for candle making and running a small business ignited. With those two passions, she convinced her best friend Chelsea to move to Chattanooga, Tennessee and together, they established The Rustic House in 2013. With over 20 years of shared candle making experience they have formulated the perfectly scented soy candles.

The Rustic House is inspired by a love for simple living and the rustic, yet modern, farmhouse-style. As southern girls from Alabama, Emily and Chelsea's childhoods were filled with family reunions around rustic farmhouse tables, lake days and running through tall grass. Life was simple, and everyone was happy.

The Rustic House unites the best of the traditional and the new, with a classic candle designed to complement virtually any decor. We work with the industry's finest perfumers to create exclusive and unique candle fragrances. Each candle is hand poured to ensure the finest quality.
