Borneol | Noun

- A terpene valued for its woody, camphor-like aroma. A staple of Asian traditional medicine, borneol is an effective anti-inflammatory and pain reliever, primarily as a topical. Borneol has also proven effective as an anticoagulant for stroke patients, and may increase the effectiveness of other drugs. Borneol is not one of the primary cannabis terpenes, and it does not occur frequently in significant amounts, however it can be found in “haze” strains such as K13-Haze commonly feature this terpene. It’s typically a high-THC plant, with moderate- to high-psychedelic effect.
Borneol naturally occurs in ginger, rosemary, sage, camphor, marjoram, thyme, mugwort, and other plants.
