URUGUAY Legal

Uruguay became the first country to legalize weed when President Jose “Pepe” Mujica signed the bill into law in December 2013 that legalized cannabis. Under Uruguay marijuana laws, each Uruguayan citizen is allowed to grow up to six plants at home. These plants are not allowed to yield more than 480 grams (17 ounces) of marijuana per year.
